Zitat:
Dear Claus,

There's a lot to celebrate this year - with your investments we've continued to grow our lending to UK businesses and in return, pay our investors over £51 million in total gross loan interest since launch. To celebrate this and our inclusion in The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100, we're delighted to reward our investors with our Christmas Cracker and Summer Holiday Cash Back promotion.

Simply choose your cash back - the longer you invest and the more you invest, the more cash back you earn. Please see the Terms and Conditions for full details.

1%

For a 1% Christmas Cracker Cash Back, invest some extra cash and get your cash back payment on 20th December 2018.

2%

To earn a total 2%, keep that extra cash invested for longer and receive another 1% cash back on 20th June 2019.

How does it work?

How much you earn is up to you. We've taken a snapshot of your balance at 00:00am on 14th September - any extra funds you invest after that date during the promotion period is eligible for cash back.
Once you've invested extra funds, you can take advantage of not one but two cash back payments. Our Christmas cracker will give you 1% cash back on all qualifying funds if they remain invested until 17th December 2018.

If you leave those funds invested on the platform until 17th June 2019, you will also benefit from our Summer Holiday cash back - boosting your funds in time for the summer season and giving you another 1% cash back on qualifying funds.

This cash back offer applies to new lent funds in any of our investment accounts, including ISA wrapped accounts. Subject to Terms and Conditions. Remember, funds must be lent to qualify so make sure you have switched on the 'invest idle funds' function on the dashboard.

This promotion will close on 30th September 2018 or once £10 million of new funds have been invested on the platform, whichever is the later.

Neues 90 Tage Produkt bei Assetz Capital mit 5,75% Zinsen

Zitat:
We’re excited to launch our brand new 90-Day Access Account (90DAA), with an introductory rate of 5.75% p.a. gross target interest. This target rate will not change until 31st May 2019. After this time, any changes to the rate will be announced at least 90 days in advance. Plus, for a limited time only, you can get 1% cashback on all newly lent funds. T&Cs apply.
How does the 90-Day Access Account work?

In normal market conditions you can get access to your cash by giving 90 days' notice, although access times cannot be guaranteed.

As with the Quick Access Account and the 30-Day Access Account, your funds are automatically diversified across a wide range of secured business loans and benefit from a discretionary provisionary fund. Visit the 'How it works' section to find out more.
How do I qualify for 1% cashback?

To celebrate the launch of the 90 Day Access Account (90DAA) and to continue to reward our investors, we're offering you the chance to earn 1% cashback when you invest newly lent funds via the 90DAA before midnight on 15th March 2019. What's more, we'll process your cashback payment in just 90 days! Terms & Conditions apply.

Find out more
The 90DAA is now open to investment, and if you have already invested in our Access Accounts you can re-allocate some or all of your investment to the 90-Day Access Account at the click of a button, should you wish to do so.

Dear fellow investors,

Greeting from the Netherlands. please accept my apologies for not writing in German. I have been continuously reading and enjoying he English blog posts until I realized a couple of days ago that the blog is only the tip of the iceberg Very Happy and there is much more going on in the discussion forum. I have started following the discussion in the forum, from which I gave learned a lot. So thanks to all contributors.

Back to my main question. Among all the risks with invessting in the UK P2P in the light of Brexit, one that concerns me a lot is the possibility of losing access to my UK bank account. I have registered with Assetz Capital using a UK IBAN from Revolute. Revolute has already stated that in the case of no-deal Brexit, they will move the accounts of their EU customer to a EU partner. I think that implies that for us living in EU, the Revolute IBAN will change from a UK one to some EU IBAN, which cannot be used as a reference account in Assetz Capital. Have you used Revolute for your UK IBAN as well? How do you assess the risk?

Best regards,
Yashar

Hi caliburn,

welcome.

I think if that should happen, investors will manage.
Either find a replacement account (Transferwise borderless) or get Assetz to agree to do a one-time withdrawal to a foreign account (in your case Dutch). Of course that option would come with costs/fees.

Zitat:
Here at Assetz Capital we’re always looking for ways to make peer-to-peer lending simpler. Over the years we’ve launched a range of investment accounts to suit various preferences, as well as being one of the few larger platforms to offer manual lending.

As part of this simplification process, we’ve made the decision to close the Great British Business Account Series 2 (GBBA2) and the Property Secured Account (PSA) to new investment.

As we’ve grown our platform, we’ve listened to your feedback and monitored which accounts you’re investing through. With the ever-growing popularity of the ‘Access Accounts,’ including the introduction of our 90 Day Account back in March this year, the growth of the GBBA2 and PSA has remained relatively static.

Our goal is to provide a great lending experience, and we feel the closure of the GBBA2 and PSA help to simplify our platform for our investors, whilst still giving you both the option of ‘hands off’ automated investment or a self-select approach.

What does this mean for Lenders investing through those accounts?

With immediate effect, we will no longer be accepting new investment into the GBBA2 and PSA and there won’t be any new loans available in these accounts. If you have loan holdings in these accounts, they will continue to seek to pay the target rate of gross interest (subject to individual loan performance and the provision fund). Any funds that are awaiting investment into the closed accounts will be returned to your Cash Account immediately. It’s important to remember that if you had the ‘invest idle funds’ feature switched on in the GBBA2 or PSA, but not in your Cash Account, those funds will become uninvested and therefore not interest bearing. You can switch on the ‘invest idle funds’ feature in the Cash Account on your dashboard at the click of a button.

Over time, any interest and capital from your investments in GBBA2 & PSA will be returned to your cash account for investment into other accounts at your discretion. In due course after all loan repayments or recoveries you will eventually have no holdings remaining in these two accounts. Any funds awaiting investment into closed accounts will be returned to your cash account, where they can be re-deployed into an account of your choice.

If you do wish to sell some or all of your loan holdings in any of the closed accounts, you are still able to do this through the secondary market (provided the loans are not suspended and subject to demand by other lenders)

For more information on the closure of the GBBA2 and PSA you can view our FAQs by clicking here. Alternatively, if you have any further questions please give our customer services team a call on 0800 470 0430 (Option 1) or via live chat on our website.

With your continued support we’re fast approaching £1 billion lent to UK businesses and £100 million of gross interest earned by our lenders – and we’re not stopping there. We’ll continue to strive for better and better investment performance from our business lending activities that help support British businesses and house builders and to provide fairer returns on your money.
