Danke Claus, ich investiere da seit Q1 2018 und meine Zahlen sehen doch sehr viel anders aus.
Ich habe ein XIRR von ca 5.5% (deckt sich mit meiner eigenen Rechnung) nach Abschreibungen. 124 Kredite, davon 4 mit Problemen, Zinsertrag EUR 1340 bei EUR 280 Abschreibungen. Bin damit eigentlich recht zufrieden. Gehe aber davon aus dass es noch zu Ausfällen kommt, da ich einige Kredite aus Bereich Event/Tourismus/Gastronomie habe.
Reinvestiere meine Rückflüsse, würde auch aufstocken wenn das Angebot an nicht garantierten (Staatsgarantie Frankreich & Italien) Krediten höher wäre. 2% Zinsen bei 90% Kapitalgarantie deckt mMn dass Risiko nicht. _________________ Investiert:LinkedFinance /Peerberry/ Afranga/Mintos (Bonds) /Esketit/Viainvest/Iuvo /Heavyfinance /Axiafunder / Bondora/Lendermarket

Ich hab meine 8 Defaults durchgeklickt und vermute mal das von 7 davon nichts mehr kommen wird.
Wie man sieht hab ich noch 10 laufende Kredite, davon 2 noch knapp 2 jahre, der Rest bis zu 13 Monaten Restlaufzeit.
Lendix/October hätte ich mir als Experiment echt sparen sollen.
5 Jahre und die Zinsen wurden schon fast komplett von den Ausfällen aufgefressen. Wenn noch einer ausfällt lande ich bei plus/minus Null

Hallo Claus
ich finde deine Statistik hier sehr interessant, meine sieht doch stark anders aus. Bin auf der Plattform seit Q1 2018 aktiv
Insgesamt 186 Kredite finanziert, 34 zurückgezahlt, 7 im default (da erwarte ich mir auch keine Rückflüsse mehr). Die Plattform gibt mir einen IRR (nach Abschreibungen) von 5.32, ich errechne mir einen von 4.55 über die 4 Jahre. Mal gespannt wo ich da lande. Ich finde das Ergebnis ok, wenn auch nicht umwerfend und lasse die Plattform so weiterlaufen. Kämpfe immer wieder mit cash drag, da ich die Kredite ein Minimum selektioniere und immer wieder nichts vernünftiges im Angebot ist. How is October financed?
The company—its technical and human resources—is funded through:
its own cash reserves. The proceeds from the platform sale helped build a financial buffer
monthly fees charged to borrowers.
How is recovery funded?
We advance 100% of recovery costs, including:
registering collateral (pledges, guarantees, etc.),
legal fees in case of court action,
court clerk fees for commercial tribunals.
These costs are initially paid by October, and then reclaimed from the borrower. In the case of partial repayment, these costs are deducted first from recovered amounts, before any redistribution to lenders. In case of non-repayment, these costs become a loss for October.
Additionally, when there is a failed direct debit or a legal dispute, additional fees (as specified in the contract) are charged to the borrower. These fees cover:
the structural costs of recovering defaulted projects,
and serve as an incentive for borrowers to stay on schedule, preventing them from treating the loan as a flexible cash facility.
In summary
Lenders bear no costs.
Our recovery efforts help preserve portfolio quality. The fees collected reflect an alignment of interests between October and its lenders—just like the investments made in the loans by our management team from day one. That’s the real meaning of “skin in the game”—our daily motivation to do what’s best for you.
Two Recovery Tracks
Pre-litigation
Key metrics for assessing pre-litigation recovery include:
the number and amount of rejected payments on loans with no final contract,
the number and amount of payments recovered following an amicable recovery action.
The ratio between these amounts gives the pre-litigation recovery rate.
Over the past 18 months:
Total amount rejected by borrowers: €15.7 million (out of nearly €147 million debited),
Rejection rate: just under 11%.
Amount recovered via amicable efforts: €8 million.
Resulting pre-litigation recovery rate: a little over 51% of rejected amounts.
Litigation
We initiate legal proceedings when a project has many unpaid installments, a clear unwillingness to repay, or the borrower enters a formal insolvency procedure. This leads to a loan termination (acceleration clause).
The goal is to claim the full outstanding amount, including:
unpaid installments,
remaining principal,
and late payment penalties.
Termination also enables us to trigger any available guarantees.
Key litigation recovery metrics:
Outstanding capital,
Amount recovered after termination.
We distinguish two categories of loans:
Loans backed by state guarantees
Outstanding capital: €40 million
Recovered via guarantees: €25 million → 62% recovery rate
This rate is expected to rise gradually, approaching the program’s coverage level (~80%), though reimbursement delays from the guarantor remain a key constraint.
Loans not backed by state guarantees
Outstanding capital: €65 million
Recovered: €6.7 million → just over 10% recovery rate
The number of projects in litigation mirrors national trends in corporate defaults, with a peak in 2023/2024 and a decline starting in early 2025.
In conclusion
Eighteen months on, we are even more confident in our ability to manage the loan portfolio through to completion. While our resources are more limited than before, they are entirely focused on this mission.
As of today, all October funds have returned more than their initial investment, offering a positive return to all investors. For individual lenders, outcomes may vary depending on the projects you supported. But we are committed to doing everything we can to maintain those results—for you, who chose to invest in October projects and place your trust in us. |
