The CEO of Cashwagon, Maxim Chernuschenko, previously worked at Finstar (https://www.linkedin.com/in/maximchernuschenko/?originalSubdomain=sg and https://www.linkedin.com/company/finstar-financial-group/). Finstar is in fact controlled by the mighty famous Oleks Boyko, who is the Chairman of Finstar Financial Group. He also has his fingers in Viainvest* and Viventor. Although Sulte today, when asked about a Boyko connection, rejected that Boyko is Mintos-associated, it seems a bit suspicious and I wonder if and how Boyko is influencing Mintos* or Mintos-LO. Is Cashwagon the only LO on Mintos* that has such obvious Boyko connections?
EDIT: A quick revealed another, although indirect, connection to Tigo from Finitera, a known Mintos-associated LO: According to https://s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/mintos-prod-public-files/E33ED9A6-2794-E658-3394-AFE94BEF456B.pdf, Filip Dimitrovski CEO at TIGO Finance Macedonia worked as a "Junior Business Analyst for Digital Finance international (Member of a Finstar Financial group)" before...
All 4 Mintos* founders that are listed on the Mintos* About page are from 4finance, which is - surprise -a Boyko company. https://www.digitalkredit.de/news/cashcape-milliardaer-steigt-ein/
Another piece of evidence that Moneda belongs to Finitera and Mintos/Finitera is just hiding it: http://www.prijedordanas.com/?p=127046 and https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/Moneda/743999687315960-predstavnik-ca-u-poslovnici
Regarding Creamfinance (https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/creamfinance/people): Hard to find something, they are hiding large parts of their audited financial statements (https://assets.mintos.com/8B37C1BB-8434-5DBF-CE8E-10EEB6C7CD6C.pdf). he only possible hint I found, albeit without any further information: "Mintos (which is affiliated with Creamfinance) https://www.altfi.com/article/1813_creamfinance_closes_eur1m_investment_round
They had 2 capital injections (https://www.iafrikan.com/2017/03/29/capitec-bank-have-acquired-s-40-stake-in-european-fintech-company-cream-finance-for-22-million/ and from Flint Capital, see https://gomedici.com/companies/cream-finance?company_detail=true and http://dn.sharenet.co.za/jsepdf/SENS_20170324_S382961.pdf ). I read on one page something about small shareholders from Whirlon Investments Limited, a Cyprus-based company such as Creamfinance, as many other Mintos-associated ones (tax heaven). Could this be a connection? I dont see any obvious one for now at least. Even if Creamfinance was Mintos-associated in the beginning, the two capital injections resulted in newly appointed board members from Flint Capital (Andrew Gershfeld) and Capitec Bank. Both of the two founders of Creamfinance (Matiss Ansviesulis) actually founded one of the first microfinancing companies in Latvia, Creditclub.lv (see here, the one review is bad: https://www.sudzibas.lv/wwwcreditclublv-neiemaksa-naudu-ignore-c28383. Interestingly, when searching for the registration number for creditcluv.lv on Lursoft, you find... Creamfinance Latvia, SIA. So seems like it has been renamed? https://www.lursoft.lv/meklet?q=40103283854
This was fun . Rick, help me, you are better at this than me |

Nice work, @carnold.
You had a lot of hard work, in the end you could have enjoy doing the research.
Some people are employed in a new company, because they have previous experience in the same area of business and/or in the same region/country.
Some companies will try to hire employees from other competing companies, like the football clubs.
Did you saw the previous employers of the Peerberry* and Swaper* CEOs?
The fact that some people have worked for several companies, don't necessarily means that all companies are linked together.
It's public knowledge thanks to the Malta Files and the media that published articles about them, that 4finance was founded by the same people that are the shareholders of Mogo Finance and Mintos. And that 4 Mogo/Mintos founders sold their company 4finance previously to Boyko. I had published a "chapter" with the public information of the articles related to the Malta Files.

Moneda connection to Finitera Group is already known. I had publish that here, sometime before Moneda was in Mintos. It was on the Finitera Group website, before they hided it (like Monego).
As you mention Viainvest*, Viainvest* and Twino* didn't do a joint-venture LO in Vietnam, recently? _________________ Asset Allocation - https://financialawarenessforall.wordpress.com/ |
