(apologies for writing the below in English, my German writing is not that great and machine translation in to German is wonky at best)
Did anyone else notice the changes recently to Luma Finans AB in Sweden?
They have merged in beginning of April this year with Binly Finans AB. And expanded their market presence in Sweden quite considerably. Which also included an increased loan offering on Mintos.
The recently published (unaudited) results by the Sun Finance group mentions the following

I am unable to find any details about the sale, who owns it now, etc. Does it still fall under the influence of Aigars Kesenfelds's group of companies or was it sold to someone else. And how does that sale influence the group guarantee that was in place between Luma Finans and the Sun Finance Group. And how does that impact the guarantee obligation that has been given for the bonds of the Sun Finance group.
Luma Finans is still listed as a subentity under Sun Finance. ( https://www.mintos.com/en/lending-companies/Sun-finance )
I reached out to both Mintos* and Sun Finance Group last weekend but have not yet received a reply that would answer any of the above questions. Just only a note from Mintos* that their team would reach out to Sun Finance to get clarification.

Not much to update:
- Sun Finance has not replied to me (maybe my e-mail is caught in a spam filter?).
- Mintos replied that they are working with Sun Finance to update the information on Luma Finans on the platform. There should not be any changes to the group guarantee that is in place on the current loans and they should continue to be serviced under the existing agreements.
But I would prefer to read the documents myself to confirm that. Also curious that it takes a bit of time. I would assume Sun Finance should have informed Mintos* in the June timeframe about these changes (and yes that is a big assumption) |

Also received a reply from Sun Finance about the situation:
